In this episode of Repair and Replace, Vance shows how to replace the pressure switch, which is part of troubleshooting a furnace that won’t ignite. The draft inducer fan pulls air into the burner. The pressure switch monitors the airflow and will shut the furnace off if the pressure is too low for combustion. If the pressure switch is fails, or if the pressure switch remains open, then the furnace might cycle on and off and will not function properly.
